1.                   These terms

1.1                What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions together with our Terms of Website UseAcceptable Use PolicyPrivacy Policy and Cookie Policy sets out the legal terms and conditions on which we supply products to you.

1.2                Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms or require any changes, please contact us to discuss.

2.                   Information about us and how to contact us

2.1                Who we are. We are ebooksglobe Ltd a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 09610078.

2.2                How to contact us. You can contact us at queries@ebooksglobe.com

2.3                How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.

2.4                “Writing” includes emails. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.

3.                   Our contract with you

3.1                How we will accept your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place when you make payment for the product.

3.2                You must be 18 or over, or the legal age in which you are allowed to make purchases from the country where you are ordering from.

3.3                If we cannot accept your order. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this by email and will not charge you for the product. This might be because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified. EBooks and downloadable content orders are automatically refused if payment problems are experienced.

3.4                Your order number. We will assign an order ID number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order ID number whenever you contact us about your order.

4.                   Our products

Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we make every effort to display the images accurately, we cannot guarantee that the picture displays an accurate description of the eBook or product. You are  advised to read the product description which is given to every eBook or product before making the purchase.

You are strongly advised to read the product description as this not only gives an accurate description of the eBook or product you may purchase but information and restrictions relevant for download. For example some ebooks may not be compatible for download on iMac and if this is the case then it would be stated clearly on the product description.

5.                   Our rights to make changes

5.1                Minor changes to the products. We may change the product:

(a)            to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; and

(b)           to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a security threat. These changes will not affect your use of the product.

5.2                We may revise these terms and conditions at any time.  Please check our website from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you.

5.3                Updates to digital content. We may update or require you to update digital content, provided that the digital content shall always match the description of it that we provided to you before you bought it. If this is the case, then you will be notified by email.

6.                   Providing the products

6.1                When we will provide the products. As soon as you have completed the order process and the products have been paid for in full via PayPal, we.   will send you an email with a link to download your digital content. A link to download your eBook or digital content is also provided in the order confirmation.  

6.2                Please note that a maximum of 2 copies of the eBook or downloadable product are available to download once you have made the purchase unless stated otherwise in the product description. Some eBooks or products that are free may be limited to one download only.

6.3                Links given to you to download your eBooks or products will expire in 31 days. It is your responsibility to download the products in sufficient time.  If you fail to download the product within the 31 day period, you will need to reorder the product, paying the appropriate fee again.

6.4                Should you not receive the link to download the product after purchase, please check your junk/spam folder and mark it as safe. If the download link has not been received within 48 hours, you can use the track order facility on the website or email us at queries@ebooksglobe.com to investigate. When emailing us, please quote your order ID number if available, together with your full name, country and email address. Should the payment made through PayPal fail because payment is refused by your bank or credit card company then the transaction will be cancelled.

6.5                It is your responsibility to have the appropriate software such as PDF, word and so on as these are usually needed to read the eBooks. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the eBook or product purchased is compatible with your computer or device. For example some ebooks cannot be downloaded on an Imac if this is the case this would be clearly stated on the product description. Refunds or exchanges cannot be given if you fail to read the product description which makes this clear.

6.6                Ebooks are available in English only and as a digital product. Should you wish to have an ebook translated in any other language than this is your responsibility to use appropriate translation software etc. Ebooks are not available in any disk format or hardcopy, only available in a digital downloadable format.

6.7                We do not accept any responsibilities for any damage caused to your computer, iPad, mobile device etc., when downloading any eBooks or products. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have appropriate anti-virus software etc. to protect your computer or device.

6.8                No responsibility is taken for the information and accuracy contained in the eBooks including links contained in them. Please make extra enquiries before you act on information contained in eBooks such as making purchases, acting on any information, advice/tips, etc. as the authors and any contributors if any of the eBook, ebooksglobe.com and ebooksglobe Ltd do not accept any liability for any consequences, expenses, costs or losses incurred as a result.

6.9                Please respect copyright laws. eBooks are sold on the condition that there are not resold, copied either in part or in full, edited, copied and claim authorship, copied and given away, used as content on websites or blogs and the images or graphics of eBooks are not being used or copied, Resell rights, master resell rights and private label rights are not included in your purchase of eBooks.  Please also respect any other conditions or wishes that may be stipulated in the ebooks (or products) by the authors of the eBooks you download.

6.10             We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to cancel the order.  A refund will be issued if any links to download products are not received and products not downloaded.

6.11             We will suspend supply of the products if you do not pay. If you do not pay us for the products when you are supposed to, we will suspend supply of the products until you have paid us the outstanding amounts although usually products are only sent automatically after successful payment is made.

6.12             We reserve the right to refuse orders and transactions from specific customers and from specific countries.

7.                   Your rights to end the contract

7.1                You can only end your contract with us in certain circumstances.  Your rights when you end the contract will depend on what you have bought, whether there is anything wrong with it, how we are performing and when you decide to end the contract:

(a)            If what you have bought is faulty you may have a legal right to end the contract (or to get the product replaced or to get some or all of your money back), For example an eBook has pages missing and therefore is incomplete.

(b)           If what you have bought is misdescribed. For example, an eBook with the product description on how to care for your dog is about horse riding.

(c)            If you do not receive the downloadable link and you do not receive your products at all.

7.2                Exercising your right to change your mind (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). For most products bought online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund.  These rights, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are explained in more detail in these terms.

7.3                When you don’t have the right to change your mind.  You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of digital products after you have started to download or stream these. In the case of this website www.ebooksglobe.com where all products are eBooks or digital products you do not have a right to change your mind once the downloadable links has been received.

8.                   If there is a problem with the product

How to tell us about problems. If you have any questions or complaints about the eBook or the product, please contact us by email at queries@ebooksglobe.com.

9.                   Price and payment

9.1                Where to find the price for the product. The price of the product or eBook will be the price indicated on the product description and the checkout pages when you placed your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct.

9.2                Please note that if you ordering outside the UK, prices may vary upon checkout and/or when you are charged by your bank or credit card company due to currency fluctuations. It is advisable to check with your bank or credit card company  regarding their policy on foreign transactions and if there are any additional charges before making purchases.

9.3                From time to time we offer coupon codes. This gives you a discount usually with a minimum order value. These coupon codes, if any are offered are usually stated in the blogs or newsletters and may have an expiry date too. If you do not make use of any coupon code at the time of checkout and payment you cannot claim this coupon code discount after purchases or at a later date. Valid coupon codes can only be used at the time of purchase.

9.4                We will pass on changes in the rate of VAT. If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we supply the product, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the product in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.

9.5                When you must pay and how you must pay. We accept payment with MasterCard, Visa and PayPal. You must pay for the products before you download them. If you cannot pay by PayPal then you can pay using your debit or credit cards through the PayPal service.

10.                How we may use your personal information

10.1             How we will use your personal information. We will use the personal information you provide to us:

(a)            to supply the products to you;

(b)           to process your payment for the products; and

(c)            if you agreed to this during the order process or through our subscription service, to give you information about eBooks or other products that we provide, (through our email newsletter service) but you may stop receiving this at any time by contacting us or by unsubscribing.

10.2             We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.

11.                Other important terms

11.1             We may transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.

11.2             Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

11.3             If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

11.4             Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. For example, if you miss a payment and we do not chase you but we continue to provide the products, we can still require you to make the payment at a later date.

11.5             Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English courts. If you live in Scotland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

11.6             Alternative dispute resolution. Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. If you are not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you can ask that we refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider.  In addition, please note that disputes may be submitted for online resolution to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform.
